Introduction & Case description
Helping an NHS Trust with Right-to-Work Training
The challenges in healthcare recruitment often make the front pages of our chosen newspapers or online news channels.
The NHS has a long-standing reputation of recruiting from all corners of the world. One NHS Trust trend to Epositiv to assist their recruitment and HR team to understand the latest legislation plus what to look out for concerning IDs which are bing presented.
In addition they wanted to understand what created the Statutory Excuse for Right-to-Work checks that they make and also ensure that the processes they currently use would pass a Home Office inspection.
The solution & Technology
Providing a relevant training course
Epositiv looked at the current Right-to-Work process in place and how that aligned to the recruitment and onboarding system.
From there we made certain we understood the way check backs in expiring IDs were made, how information was stored and considered the main Countries where recruitment was coming from.
Result Driven
The perfect online course...
Our experienced team delivered a three hour online training programme that was completely bespoke for our client.
The online development course covered all the aspects outlined within the client brief and highlighted areas of process that should be ‘tightened-up’ in case of any inspection.
We covered the IDs from the selected Countries where the majority of recruitment has been coming from including the implication of Visas.
The result was that we brought together the two teams so that they both were able to support each other with the entire recruitment and onboarding process. Ironing out historic flash points that have slowed the recruitment process down.
